[Sudanvisiondaily, Khartoum, Sudan, June 14, 2007] -- The Chadian President Idris Debi has announced rejection to deploy foreign forces on Chadian borders with Sudan, expressing worry about the pressures being put on him in this respect. The Chadian President has also warned against dangers of internalization of the crises including Darfur.

In a meeting with the Arab permanent envoys at the Arab League in Cairo yesterday, President Debi called on the Arab states to support Sudan to find a peaceful solution to Darfur issue.
Regarding the French proposal to open routes for humanitarian aid to the needy people in Darfur, Debi said no body consulted us in this regard, adding that he suggested protecting about 14 refugee camps in his country by police forces.

He stressed the importance of finding a negotiated settlement to the issue of Darfur, saying that no international efforts were made to persuade the non-signatories of Abuja Peace Agreement to join the peace process.
